Idle Time and Delays:
All Events, Productions, Installations, etc are quoted based on discussions and best estimates. In order to keep our prices fair and as low as possible, the client must provide us with accurate timing and descriptions of all related items, which includes, but is not limited to location info, load in/out times, start/end times, power availability, content management.
Failure to describe and accurately relay site/event details and timing may result in additional charges.
Most invoices are quoted based on 4, 8 or 12 hour days. If clients are not ready at the time expected or delays occur due to any thing besides an act of god, additional charges may apply. This includes, but is not limitied to charges for employee time, lodging, vehicles, gas, and rental items.
All hours under 12, but over quoted time, will be charged at the standard rate per employee.
All hours over 12 will be charged an additional time and half per employee.
In studio productions are charged based on each addtional period of 30 minutes
Warranty
All devices guaranteed to function unless otherwise noted. All devices will be tested prior to leaving Media Pollutions location. Devices that do not operate correctly will be replaced in a timely manner. The client is required to provide a minimum 4 hours notice to replace any device that may not be functioning properly. Replacement outside of normal business hours will happen on the next business day. Exact replacements may not be available. Operator error, misuse, or damage not covered. All devices are vintage and may have quirks, imperfections, random behavior, unforeseen issues etc. Media Pollution is not responsible for delays that may occur due to device failure or technical issues. Due to the nature, design and timing of some installations replacement may not be viable or available.
Usage Requirements:
Client will not modify the devices in any way. Client understands they must inform Media Pollution if the devices will be exposed directly to dirt, debris, sun, moisture, chemicals or anything that may harm, get inside or reduce the color, integrity or value of the device. All devices must be used in a way that allows them to disperse heat properly. Meaning they may not be placed in sealed or confined spaces. Certain devices have maximum operating temperatures which cannot be exceeded. If this is a requirement of your process you will need to disclose this to us prior to rental so the scope can get adjusted accordingly. If weather becomes an issue we reserve the right to turn off and/or remove our items. We have contingencies for tenting or weatherproofing if needed, but this may result in changes to the scope of work. We reserve the right to turn off and/or remove devices at any point if these requirements are not met.
COI Insurance certificates must:
List Media Pollution LLC. as the “Certificate Holder”.
Contain the following wording under the “Description of Operations/Special Provisions” section: Certificate holder is named as Additional Insured as respects General Liability and Automobile Liability including form #CA9947 and Loss Payee as respects Props, Sets, and Wardrobes, and Loss of Use, rental/leased to the named insured.
Be issued by the company’s insurance agent.
